Music Ministry / Choir
If you are a person who can sing or play an instrument, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church needs you! We have plenty of opportunities for everyone to sing or play a
joyful song to the Lord.
Prior musical experience, while beneficial, is not a requirement.
LIFE TEEN CHOIR AND BAND (Sunday 11:30 am Mass)
Practice: Thursdays, 6:00-7:30 pm in the Sanctuary
Warmups: Before Mass, starting at 11:00 am.
Repertoire consists of contemporary music as well as new takes on older hymns.
ADULT CHOIR AND BAND (Sunday 9:30 am Mass)
Practice: Thursdays, 6:00-7:30 pm in the Sanctuary
Warmups: Before Mass, starting at 9:00 am
Repertoire consists of both traditional and modern Catholic hymns as well as occasional performance songs on feast days and celebrations.
JOYFUL NOISE CHOIR
Children's choir for kids from 2nd through 8th grade. Sings at one Mass per month. Please contact Bryan for info on our practice schedule.
CANTORS
Lead the congregation in song at the 5:00 pm Saturday and 7:30 am Sunday Masses.
Practices: By mutual agreement.
Warmups: 30 minutes before each Mass.
Cantors must possess strong leadership skills and musicianship.
